Just got back from Siesta Key Beach in Florida and honestly, it felt like stepping into the Caribbean beaches I grew up on in Venezuela. That powdery white sand made from Appalachian quartz stays cool even in the blazing sun, and the clear turquoise water is super calm and family-friendly. It’s no surprise it’s ranked the No. 1 beach in the US by TripAdvisor and US News this year.
What I loved most was how low-key it felt. No high-rise hotels crowding the shore, just chill beach cottages, a great beach pavilion, and free shuttles around town. Even in peak summer, it didn’t feel overly touristy. If you’ve been to Siesta Key, what was your favorite part? I can’t wait to go back!
