Shutdown and bad weather causing massive flight delays across the US

The Points Guy says the ongoing government shutdown is starting to hit air travel hard. FAA staffing shortages and storms are causing multi-hour delays, especially in the NYC area. Some Delta premium lanes at JFK and LAX are even closed because of TSA staffing issues.

Controllers and TSA workers are still working unpaid, and now delays are being blamed on staffing almost half the time. Feels like déjà vu from 2019. Anyone traveling this weekend seeing long lines or holds?
