Came through SFO a couple days ago and it honestly caught me off guard. I’ve been using SFO for international arrivals since 2021 and I’ve never seen it like this.
Multiple CBP officers were yelling at people in the Global Entry line. Shouting for passports out and pressed against the glass, and if someone hesitated even a second they got publicly ridiculed. Not firm or efficient yelling, just straight up belittling.
Saw another officer doing the same thing, really intimidating people for no clear reason. It felt bizarre and unnecessary, especially for Global Entry travelers who are usually in and out.
I’m not sure what’s going on there lately, but it definitely made me think twice about routing arrivals through SFO again.
