My husband and I (23F/24M) are heading to Seville, Lisbon, and Porto March 16 to 25. We travel pretty fast paced and are fine packing a lot in.
Current split:
Seville 3 days
Lisbon 3 days
Porto 2 days
Seville plans include Cathedral, Alcazar, Plaza de España, Triana/Ceramic district. For food we have spots like Bar El Comercio, Mercado Triana, Manu Jara, Chök, etc.
Lisbon we’re thinking Jerónimos, Pena Palace, miradouros, LX Factory. Food list includes Pasteis de Belém, Manteigaria, Bonjardim, Time Out Market, etc.
Porto we’re planning Ribeira, São Bento, Livraria Lello, Mercado do Bolhão, and of course francesinha somewhere like Brasão.
A few big questions:
– In Seville, what are your must eat tapas? Best churros? Is the Basque cheesecake hype still worth it there?
– Lisbon: Best pastel de nata spot? São Jorge Castle vs Maritime Museum if we had to pick one? Worth doing a sunset cruise?
– Porto: Where should we absolutely try a francesinha? Is Bolhão better than Time Out there? Any must see churches beyond the obvious ones?
– Would you steal a day from Seville to squeeze in Algarve, or is that too rushed?
– Anything special happening during Lent that would be cool to see even before Easter week?
We love food, architecture, local traditions, and authentic vibes more than overly touristy stuff.
Would love to hear what you’d tweak if this were your trip.
