Had a Breeze flight where the captain actually came out and talked to us in person before takeoff, then kept giving super detailed updates the whole way. Stuff about the reboot they had to do, weather aloft, the slow groundspeed, all of it. As someone who loves aviation, it was great to hear a pilot assume passengers actually want to know what’s going on.
He must have checked in twenty times during the flight and honestly it made the whole delay feel way less annoying. Plus he handled the A220 beautifully.
Really refreshing to see a pilot bring that kind of calm and transparency.
