I’ve done something similar before and it really depends on how “connected” everything is.
If both flights are in the same terminal and you’re not checking bags, you might be able to just stay airside and go straight to your next gate. That’s the ideal case.
But with separate tickets, there’s always a bit of risk… if something goes wrong or the system doesn’t recognize you as a connecting passenger, you could end up having to exit and go back through security anyway.
Personally I’d still allow extra time just in case, even if it should be straightforward on paper.
