I was supposed to travel to Singapore this week for an academic conference, but I tested positive for COVID and had to cancel the trip. I managed to get a refund on my flights, but the hotel was non refundable.
The hotel has agreed to let me postpone the booking and transfer it to someone else. It’s a 3 star hotel near Boat Quay, for 4 nights, and the dates are flexible depending on availability.
I originally paid around S$560, but I’m asking S$330 just to recover part of the cost. The hotel has confirmed in writing that a name change is allowed.
