I’m flying from Seattle to Taipei and my flight is scheduled to land at 4:55 AM. I won’t be checking any luggage, just carrying a bag.
From Taipei I have a separate ticket to Osaka booked with Alaska Airlines using points, departing at 8:30 AM. Since it’s a self connection, I’ll need to go through immigration, then security again to depart from Terminal 1.
That gives me about a 3.5 hour connection. I’m wondering if that’s usually enough time at TPE or if it’s cutting it too close. I do have the option to switch to a flight with a 5 hour 15 minute layover, but I’d prefer not to spend that long at the airport if I don’t have to.
