Yeah, it’s surprising to see, but it’s not totally unheard of at big airports like Schiphol, especially in winter. Huge food areas, warm indoor spaces, and endless hiding spots make it pretty ideal for rodents, even at well run airports.
That said, seeing multiple mice in passenger seating areas isn’t great and probably worth mentioning to staff, even casually. You’re not starting drama by pointing it out, it’s a hygiene thing and something they should be aware of.
Schiphol’s had a rough few years operationally, so stuff like this popping up doesn’t totally shock me anymore. Still unpleasant though.
