I’ve watched Moxche pricing for a while and yeah, $1500 for 3 nights is definitely on the lower end for that property. Especially for May which usually isn’t dirt cheap unless it’s peak shoulder season softness or they’re trying to fill rooms.
33k Chase points per night equivalent actually isn’t bad compared to the usual 40 to 45k Hyatt redemptions. On paper that’s solid value.
The nonrefundable part would be my only hesitation too. Resorts sometimes drop teaser rates for specific room categories or limited inventory, and once it’s gone it jumps back up.
If your dates are firm and you already know you like the property, I’d probably lock it in. If there’s even a small chance plans change, that’s where it gets risky.
Curious if others are seeing the same dip or if it’s just certain May windows.
