Just need to vent for a second. On my last flight I got stuck between two people who intentionally picked seats like this, then spent the entire flight reaching across me. They knocked my laptop multiple times. Super frustrating.
If you want to sit next to each other, just pick seats next to each other. I get that everyone’s free to choose whatever seat they want, but reaching over a stranger all flight feels rude.
As a Platinum member, it’s also annoying to log in and see Main Cabin Extra already chopped up into weird single seats when you’re traveling with a companion.
