Was in Milan for work and really wanted to get on the A380 while heading back. I booked JFK to MXP in Premium and figured that was where I’d stay upgrades were crazy expensive earlier.
Dropped my bag at check-in, asked just in case, and they offered it for 24k Skywards miles. Instant yes. Loved the whole thing and even got a solid 5 hours of sleep.
Back to economy on the return though, so keeping myself grounded lol.
