Scored 2.9 Cents per Citi Point Booking Preferred Hotels in London- Worth a Look?

Just had a smooth and seriously rewarding stay at The Londoner using Citi ThankYou points transferred to I Prefer. Thanks to the 1:4 transfer ratio, I used just 25,000 Citi points per night for a room that was going for $726/night. That’s 2.9 cents per point! Booking was seamless, the stay was great, though elite benefits were underwhelming no amenity at check-in until I asked.

Citi’s transfer to Preferred Hotels wasn’t always reliable, but it looks like the kinks are mostly ironed out now. If you’ve got a stash of Citi points and a Prestige, Strata Elite, or Strata Premier card, this could be a hidden gem. Anyone else tried this? Had issues or great redemptions?
