I just mapped out my trip to the Minnesota State Fair and had no idea how many ways there are to save money this year. Pre-fair tickets are $17 instead of $20 at the gate, and there are themed discount days for kids, seniors, and military. I’m planning to hit up Military Appreciation Day since it knocks a few bucks off for the whole family.
Also, if you’ve never used the $5 Blue Ribbon Bargain Book, do it. I scored $4 off loaded tots and $3 off a gyro-on-a-stick last time it adds up fast. Plus, there’s a Deals & Giveaways guide you can grab for free with even more hidden gems. Anyone else got tips or favorite hacks for doing the fair on a budget?
