Just sharing what happened, not really a rant.
I had a 6:50am BWI to ALB flight booked for tomorrow. Booked about two weeks ago and as A List Preferred I grabbed my usual favorite extra legroom seat at booking. All good.
This morning a meeting got pushed because of weather issues for other attendees, so I changed my flight. Now I’m leaving Wednesday instead, and had to adjust the return too.
When I went to reselect seats… nothing. No extra legroom left at all, either direction. Ended up stuck picking a standard seat way in the back.
Feels weird saying goodbye to the old days of boarding after A group and still landing a solid seat. Guess I’m reacquainting myself with tail sections and middle seats again. It’s been a while.
