Last night on Train 93, a disabled passenger was still on the lift when the train started pulling away. The lift tipped and she nearly fell backwards, would’ve been a disaster if people nearby hadn’t grabbed her and pushed the lift back upright until a station worker stabilized it.
Traveling disabled is already tough, but this kind of carelessness is dangerous. Crews need to double-check before moving the train.
