Just a heads up for anyone with an upcoming Princess cruise.
I received a letter in the mail asking for a $250 “final payment” and telling me to scan a QR code to pay. It looked very legit at first glance. Had my name, address, cruise dates, printed on thick, official-looking paper.
I sent it to my travel agent to double check and they confirmed it’s a scam. They contacted Princess, and Princess called me directly to confirm it’s not real and told me not to scan the QR code.
Apparently someone else in my group received the same letter.
If you get something like this, don’t scan it. Verify directly with your TA or Princess.
