Flew Rome to Jeddah on Saudia on the 8th, did Umrah on a transit visa, and had a ticket to continue on to Lahore the next day. At the gate they suddenly refused boarding, saying there was an “error” on the same boarding pass they gave me earlier. They issued an EMD but there’s no real way to refund it, and they said applying for the refund might even cancel my return ticket.
Ended up buying a new same day ticket to Islamabad just to get home, and Saudia told me my luggage would show up in Lahore anyway. It didn’t. No idea where it is. Filed a report, emailed them a bunch, nothing yet.
Anyone know what options I have here? Bought everything directly from Saudia and I feel totally stuck.
