SAS upgrade bidding system behavior where minimum bid seems to follow user’s offer

I’m currently bidding for an upgrade on a Scandinavian Airlines red-eye flight and I’m trying to understand how the system behaves.

I noticed that when I increase my bid for a Premium Economy upgrade, the displayed minimum acceptable bid also increases and seems to match what I just entered. However, this pattern does not appear to happen consistently across all cabin types, since my Business Class bid still shows a lower minimum threshold than Premium Economy.

I understand that upgrade bidding is not fully transparent, but I’m wondering what this behavior might indicate about how SAS processes or displays bid ranges.
