Posting this as a quick heads up. The SAS Connect London cabin crew strike is already impacting operations at LHR.
Several flights to and from CPH, OSL, and ARN have either operated empty, been delayed, or cancelled over the last couple of days. Some services were last minute handed over to mainline or charter crews, others just pulled entirely.
The dispute comes down to pay. The original offer was a 3.5% increase, well below inflation, and the LHR-based Connect crew are paid significantly less than colleagues elsewhere. Not surprising they’re standing firm.
Wouldn’t be shocked if more London cancellations show up over the next few days, especially with limited crew availability.
