That place has this wild combo of high desert beauty, insane light for photographers, and food that’s way more than just chile and tamales-though I could eat both forever. And the altitude kinda slows you down in the best way makes you feel where you are. If you haven’t been, I’d say go in shoulder season when it’s cooler and quieter.
