Just returned from Ischia and stayed at the newly reopened San Montano Resort & Spa. Honestly, it blew me away. The renovations are stunning from the mid-century inspired suites to the dreamy thermal pools overlooking the Bay of Naples. I was lucky to tour the new Lighthouse Suite yes, it’s in an actual restored lighthouse and it might be the most romantic spot in southern Italy. The attention to design and history here is next level.
What I loved most was the mix of old and new. You get volcanic mud spa treatments and stargazing from an ancient turret, paired with Neapolitan pizzas and zero-kilometer dining.
