Got the Samsonite Magnum Eco 55x40x20 cabin suitcase that’s supposed to meet airline size limits. Out of curiosity, I voluntarily tested it in Ryanair’s bag sizer at the airport, and the wheels stuck out. The length and width were fine, but it just wouldn’t slide all the way in.
Funny thing is, the same bag fits perfectly in EasyJet’s sizer since theirs is horizontal. Ryanair’s vertical sizer seems to make the wheels an issue.
Anyone found a hard-shell cabin case that truly fits Ryanair’s sizer with the wheels included? I’ve seen plenty that look bigger yet somehow pass.
