This isn’t a complaint, just one of the stranger things I’ve seen flying. Last night DFW to SEA was delayed a bit because two passengers with basically the same name were both assigned to the exact same seat. Took the gate agent a while to untangle it.
Sounded like one of them was supposed to be on an earlier flight and had a very similar name, but somehow it all collided into one seat assignment.
Still wild though. What are the odds of that happening? Felt like both of them should go buy a lottery ticket right after landing.
