Ryanair makes baggage way more confusing than it needs to be

You’re not blind, it really is set up in an annoying way.

Ryanair doesn’t have a single fare that clearly includes both a full cabin bag and a checked bag by default. Instead, you pick a bundle and then add what’s missing.

If you want both, the easiest way is:

Book Regular or Plus

Add the checked bag during booking or later in “Manage My Booking”

Priority gives you the cabin bag, but not a checked bag. Regular gives you seat selection and a small bag, but you still add the checked bag separately. It’s all very piecemeal on purpose.

You can add a checked bag later, but it’s usually cheaper to add it during the initial booking rather than after.

Ryanair definitely does this to push upsells and make it feel more complicated than it should be.
