Flew Italy to Ireland in early October and my checked bag came out totally destroyed. Tire tread straight across the front panel. I reported it immediately at the airport, filed the PIR, and submitted the online claim within 7 days with photos, receipts, everything.
Ryanair acknowledged the claim and said I’d be notified once it was processed. Since then? Nothing. Every follow-up just gets a generic “your message has been reviewed” reply. No real response. It’s been almost four months now.
Does anyone know if there’s an actual way to speak to a human at Ryanair about baggage claims? Or any regulator or escalation path for Ireland flights? I know UK and Spain have arbitration options, but I’m not seeing one here. Trying to avoid small claims court if possible, but I’m running out of patience.
