Booked a Ryanair flight and recently dealt with the new rule where boarding passes are only available through the app. Downloaded it and everything was fine at first.
About a month later the airline changed the flight time. After that the boarding pass in the app became locked and a new one never appeared.
The email just says to “redownload” the boarding pass, but there’s no option in the app to do that. Customer support basically said the only solution is to go to the airport desk before the flight and get a printed pass.
Kind of defeats the whole point of digital boarding passes if a schedule change means standing in line at the airport anyway.
