Our flight from Bologna got cancelled while we were already at the gate, after about a 1.5 hour delay. Ryanair rebooked us on a flight from Milan two days later.
That means we now have to pay for transport to Milan, two extra hotel nights, and food. The desk staff told us these costs would be reimbursed, but I’m a bit nervous about how realistic that is with Ryanair.
Has anyone been through something similar? Did you actually get your money back? What expenses were accepted, and how long did it take?
Any real experiences would help a lot. Feeling pretty stressed about it right now.
