Russian carrier Aeroflot’s Bangkok-Moscow flight makes emergency landing in Delhi

An Aeroflot flight from Bangkok to Moscow made an emergency landing in Delhi on May 6 after fumes were detected in the cabin. Flight SU273, a Boeing 777-300ER carrying 425 passengers, landed safely at 3:50 PM IST at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Aeroflot reported a brief odor of melted plastic but no visible smoke. The aircraft was moved to an isolation bay for inspection, and all passengers disembarked safely. The airline is coordinating with Indian authorities for passenger accommodations and onward travel. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the incident.
