Running out of time with kids on a tight HKG connection?

We’ve got a Cathay connection in less than a month and I’m already stressing. Family of four, economy, 12h flight into Hong Kong, short transfer after that. Two adults, a 3yo and a 14 month old.

We’re seated in the back bassinet row so we’ll be some of the last ones off the plane, which isn’t helping my anxiety. Can we expect any kind of assistance or guidance in HKG for a tight connection when traveling with small kids, or are we basically on our own once we land?

Also wondering about checked bags. Is it realistic to expect they’ll make the connection, or should we mentally prepare for them showing up later?

We’re traveling as light as we reasonably can: two checked bags, two carry ons, JetKids for the toddler, stroller for the baby, plus backpacks. It already feels like controlled chaos. If anyone has tips for handling transfers at HKG with little kids, or tricks to make this smoother, I’m all ears.
