Flew from Casablanca to Toronto with Royal Air Maroc and experienced a serious issue during departure. While accelerating for takeoff, the aircraft suddenly made a hard stop and returned to the gate.
After this abrupt braking, a foul-smelling liquid began leaking from the ceiling area between the overhead bins and dripped into the cabin, affecting my belongings stored in the overhead compartment, including my carry-on bag, backpack, and coat. A flight attendant had to place my items in garbage bags to contain the smell.
I filed a complaint with the airline, but I didn’t receive any response for months. The situation also caused damage concerns for my luggage, with the manufacturer refusing service due to contamination concerns. Overall, I had a very negative experience and am dissatisfied with how it was handled.
