Hi!
I’m visiting Vienna for the first time and planning to travel from Rome. I’m deciding between a very cheap flight (around $50 and much faster) or taking a train, which is more expensive and takes roughly 11–14 hours.
The train option seems like it could be a beautiful journey, especially going through the Alps, but I’m not sure if the scenery is actually worth the extra time and cost compared to just flying.
Has anyone done this route before? Would you recommend the train for the experience, or is flying the better choice here?
