Just got back from Magic Kingdom and wow seeing the Rivers of America being drained hit me harder than I thought. With Tom Sawyer Island already closed, it was surreal to walk through Frontierland and see so much of the riverbed exposed. I get that it’s all part of the Cars Land and Villains expansion, but it’s hard not to feel a bit nostalgic watching such an iconic part of the park disappear.
At the same time, Halloween is kicking off with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary and decorations are already popping up on Main Street. Disney really has a way of balancing loss with excitement. Anyone else torn about all this change?
Are you hyped for what’s next or feeling like the magic’s shifting a little too fast?
