Honestly, this feels like the start of a big shift for Geyserville.
I’ve been to River Rock before it’s always had that locals’ night out vibe. Cozy, familiar, and nothing too flashy. Now, with Caesars coming in, it’s clear they’re aiming for something way bigger and shinier. Part of me is excited a full-on resort could bring more jobs, tourism, and some serious entertainment to the area.
But I also can’t help wondering what this means for the small-town charm. Caesars doesn’t exactly do low key. In two years, we might be looking at wine country with a dash of Vegas which could be thrilling or a little overwhelming.
Either way, summer 2027 is going to feel like a totally new chapter for the Alexander Valley.
