reward flights from tokyo almost impossible to find for april

Having a nightmare trying to find reward flights back from Tokyo for next April. Even cash fares for some dates are extremely expensive, even in economy.

For example, looking at the 6th April, economy is showing around £3,000 for two people on the HND–LHR route. I feel like I must be missing something because that seems unusually high.

Is there something going on next April that is causing this, or are reward seats just fully booked this far out?

I’m even considering cancelling the outbound companion flight and changing destinations entirely.

Any explanation for the lack of availability or pricing spikes would be appreciated.
