Used a Club Access Award at the Hyatt Regency Chicago over marathon weekend one of the few U.S. hotels where it actually felt worth it. Booked on points when cash rates were crazy and got a nice river-view upgrade on the 24th floor.
The club itself wasn’t fancy but was a quiet break from the chaos downstairs. Snacks during the day, a few hot bites at dinner, and an excellent breakfast buffet way better than your standard hotel spread. Easily saved $250+ on food for two nights.
Staff were professional and really attentive to status guests. Only downside: no pool or spa.
