After being away from Southwest for over a year, I came back to use up most of my Rapid Rewards points for a flight to Orlando for a volleyball tournament.
It was my first time experiencing their new boarding process and assigned seating system. As someone who is 6'10", I was relieved to see that the exit row legroom seats haven’t changed at all.
And before anyone mentions window seats like 16A or 16F with extra legroom, I prefer the aisle since I tend to get up often.
Overall, I was pretty happy with the experience. It was also nice to find that there was no one in the middle seat.
I’ve been trying American Airlines lately, but Southwest still has its place for me.
