Hi everyone, this might be a basic question but I’ve never flown alone before.
I’m traveling outside of my country soon and I only booked a one-way ticket because I’m not sure when I’ll return.
I was thinking of booking a return ticket just to show proof of onward travel, but choosing a refundable fare.
My question is:
If I book a refundable return ticket for early June (my trip starts at the end of May), can I cancel it after I arrive in the destination country and still get a full refund?
Or are there usually restrictions or conditions that prevent a full refund after the trip has started?
Just trying to understand how this works so I don’t make a mistake.
