Went to a Resy spot just to burn my leftover credit and only found out at the end they don’t even take Amex. That one hurt. Amex basically shrugged and said sorry, nothing we can do.
The food and service were fine, no issue there. It just feels like these card perks are getting more annoying to use than they’re worth. Having to double check whether a Resy place actually accepts Amex kind of defeats the point of the credit.
