Tried to use my $150 Resy credit at Heirloom Farmhouse Kitchen in Irvine. Booked through Resy, but the charge posted as “Marriott Irvine Spectrum” under travel instead of dining.
Called Amex and they said no credit since it’s registered as Marriott, not a restaurant. Agent literally told me “merchant needs to register themselves as restaurant with the federal” then ended the chat.
Pretty frustrating since it was booked through Resy like the credit requires. Anyone else run into this?
