I checked in tonight at the Residence Inn Downtown Cleveland and when I opened the door to my assigned room, it was not what I expected.
I went back down to the front desk and the staff moved me to the Euclid Tower instead. The room there is large and comfortable, but the atmosphere feels a bit unusual. You have to walk through what feels like an indoor arcade or small mall to get there, which makes the whole setup feel somewhat eerie.
The property is clean and the staff have been very polite, but the overall experience is a bit unsettling. It honestly gave off a “Shining” type of vibe in parts.
Based on this stay so far, I would probably consider other options in the area next time.
