I’m currently on a 4-night Carnival Firenze sailing out of Long Beach, and there has been some discussion in our onboard Facebook group about an incident that occurred during the cruise.
According to unverified reports being shared among passengers, there may have been a serious medical emergency or fatal incident around 2 AM involving a young female passenger who reportedly fell from a higher deck (Serenity area) to a lower deck.
Some passengers mentioned hearing announcements or emergency calls around that time, and there were reports of law enforcement presence (FBI, sheriff, and local police) when the ship returned to port. However, none of this has been officially confirmed, and details are still based on hearsay among guests onboard.
At this point, information is very limited and unclear, and passengers are trying to understand what actually happened.
