Tried to use a day pass at the new AA lounge in Terminal A (PHL). There were maybe 5 people inside, airport was quiet but they said they “never” accept day passes due to overcrowding and keeping space for Flagship guests.
When I pointed out it was completely empty, they just shrugged. No sign, no notice, just “no.” Feels like a useless perk on the Citi Strata Elite card if this is how it works.
