Really disappointed with Qatar lately

I’ve flown Qatar for over a decade and honestly it feels like things have slipped.


Between quiet baggage policy changes and consistently rough check in experiences, it just doesn’t feel premium anymore. On this last trip I couldn’t even pay for excess baggage online with Avios. Then at the airport they double charged my credit card and actually took my card away to write down the details.


That was the final straw for me.


There are plenty of other top tier international airlines out there now offering similar products without the hassle. After years of loyalty, this might be my last time flying with them.
