I safely arrived in Manila, but the experience with Turkish Airlines was pretty disappointing.
For an 11-hour flight, the food was surprisingly bad. They handed out a menu, but the meal we actually received didn’t match what was listed. No one even asked what we wanted, they just gave us whatever meal they had. Then before landing they served almost the same meal again, and it wasn’t even hot.
Drink service wasn’t great either. After the first round, the crew rarely came back. If you wanted something different later, like switching from coffee to juice with breakfast, that didn’t really happen.
At one point we were also asked to change seats for passengers traveling with babies. I didn’t mind moving, but they wouldn’t even let us take our carry-on bags with us.
Some of the crew also came across as pretty unfriendly and not very helpful.
