Question about whether SAS enforces checked baggage size limits

I’m currently traveling in Europe and flew in with Finnair, which had relatively generous baggage rules.

For my return journey, I booked a connecting flight involving Scandinavian Airlines through a booking that also includes Singapore Airlines.

I realized too late that my checked luggage exceeds the allowed size limit (my bag is 170 cm total dimensions, while the airline limit is 158 cm).

I’m wondering how strictly SAS enforces baggage size rules at check-in or the gate, and whether slightly oversized luggage is typically measured or just accepted if it doesn’t obviously look too large.
