I have a flight departing from Santiago (SCL) tomorrow and plan to use the LATAM lounge.
According to Delta’s website, the lounge has a 21+ age restriction, likely due to self-serve alcohol. However, I am currently 20 years old and wondering how strictly this is enforced in practice, especially since the local drinking age is lower.
I also noticed there is no similar age restriction mentioned on LATAM’s own site or for the SkyTeam lounge, which is part of Priority Pass and could be a backup option. That said, I would prefer to use the LATAM lounge if possible.
Has anyone had experience with being denied lounge access under similar circumstances, or is this mainly a policy note that does not affect entry in practice?
Update: I was able to enter without any issues.
