Qatar at IAH telling me to check in at D but clear security at E… how’s the process?

Flying IAH to Doha on Qatar and got the email saying to check in at Terminal D, then go over to Terminal E for security, then back to D for the actual flight. Kinda annoying, especially with family in tow.

Anyone done this recently? Wondering how long security at E has been taking.
