I already have an Economy booking on Qatar Airways for BLR–DOH–FRA. I am trying to change dates in the Manage Booking section and enabled the “premium cabin” option.
What is confusing is that it shows a fare option called “Business Lite,” but it also clearly states that I will be seated in Economy Class for both segments (BLR–DOH and DOH–FRA).
The price shown is around USD 570, which also seems unusually low for two passengers.
Is this a UI issue or repricing glitch, or is there some mixed cabin or upgrade mechanism happening here? I do not understand how something labeled Business Lite can still result in economy seating on both flights. Has anyone seen this before?
