My Qatar Airways flight was cancelled about 2.5 years ago, and I still haven’t received a refund or any proper resolution.
Since then, I’ve repeatedly contacted their customer service, but I keep getting the same responses such as:
The case is still under investigation
It is not their responsibility
I should contact other airlines involved in the itinerary
However, Qatar Airways was the airline I booked through, so I expected them to handle the refund directly instead of passing me between different parties.
At this point, the situation has dragged on for years with no outcome, and it feels like I’m being stalled or ignored.
I’m looking for advice on what I can do next:
Is there a regulator or authority I can escalate this to?
Is legal action still an option after this much time?
Has anyone successfully resolved a similar long-delayed airline refund?
Any guidance would be appreciated because I just want a fair resolution after waiting so long.
